Animal bite injury can be seen frequently in our daily life, but biting from shark is a surprising event in Korea. Shark bite injuries are rarely reported worldwide. In Korea, there is an increasing threat of shark bite especially in the South Sea. We report a case of managing 25 year-old male who was bitten by shark in Russia. His forearms were amputated at the time of injury and multiple lacerations of his trunk and both thighs were sutured primarily in a Russian hospital. Revision of previously sutured wound was performed on 12th day of injury and split thickness skin graft for soft tissue defect of left thigh was performed on 23rd day of injury, and there was no complication.
